ABOUT HORSLEY HILLS
Horsley Hills or Horsleykonda or Yenugulla Mallamma Konda is a progression of slopes in Andhra Pradesh in Madanapalle Taluka of Chittoor region and is around 9 miles from Madanapalle town. The nearby name of the slope was Yenugu Mallama Konda after a legend of a virtuous elderly person named Mallamma who inhabited the highest point of the slope and was taken care of by elephants (yenugulu). W.D. Horsley, a British gatherer, fabricated his home around 1870 after whom it is named. Rather than the dry and warm encompassing, this region is very much vegetated with cooler environment.
